NOTICE OF NON-DISCRIMINATION

Providence Healthcare of MS, LLC, a private duty nursing agency in the State of Mississippi, complies fully with the Non-Discrimination provision of all State and Federal regulations, including requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 in that no participant, applicant or employee shall on the grounds of age, race, color, national origin, limited English proficiency, or physical or mental disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance from the Department of Health and Human Services.

Our nurses are reliable nurses that can be trusted with children’s health and well being. Our nurses provide skilled hourly care for children with high technology needs such as ventilation, tracheostomy care, and more. Each child receives comprehensive supervision with documented evaluation of goals, progress recommendations, along with family-focused and involvement.

Our Pediatric Private Duty nursing program provides skilled nursing for children ranging in age from birth to 21 years. Depending on the needs of your child, a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) with pediatric experience will provide the skilled nursing care in the privacy of your home.

Benefits you and your child receive in addition to our skilled nursing care when using Pediatria for your pediatric private duty nursing are:

Staff Supervision – Coordination of your child’s care is ongoing and information is shared frequently between the care-giving nurses and Pediatria’s management staff. In addition, the management staff performs routine in-depth supervisory visits to ensure the caregivers are meeting all the prescribed needs in an efficient and effective manner.

Case Management and Education – Our staff coordinates information for the child’s family and physician to promote the best opportunity for enhanced outcomes. Parents are educated about the care their child is receiving and ways to promote the continuation of that care when a nurse is not in the home.

Clinical Support – We provide nursing support 24 hours a day, every day of the week. Our on-call nurses are available for advice or to implement whatever solution is required.

Insurance Verification and Approval – Our administrative support team gets authorizations and approvals necessary for your child to receive the care that he or she is entitled to have. We also assist in the enrollment process for medical assistance or waiver programs.
